Pediatric and Adolescent Primary Care

This course emphasizes holistic assessment, formulating differential diagnosis, and integrative clinical management of pediatric and adolescent patients (ages 0-21). Content includes primary care approach health promotion, disease prevention, and managing common acute and chronic illnesses of increasing complexity using family-centered and developmental perspectives. Perspectives of underserved and rural populations in a variety of clinical settings will be explored.
