PHARMACY-BASED POINT-OF-CARE TEST AND TREAT

SU. Pr. PYPD 9230. This course provides pharmacy students with knowledge and skills to develop and implement collaborative point-of-care testing programs. This HCOP elective will discuss the point-of-care test and treat process, including specimen collection, legal and management issues associated with point-of-care testing and follow-up care, and assessment of patients to determine if point-of-care testing is appropriate.
