Art (BFA)
University of Alabama in Huntsville
The BFA in Fine Arts develops the skills, concepts, and professional practices to pursue a career as an artist and is the primary professional degree in Art Studio. It is also the preferred degree for students who plan to go on for a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree and is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). This major requires more studio courses than the BA and does not require a minor. Students must pass a portfolio review as rising juniors.
