International Studies of Plant Ecology and Conservation

This course provides a first-hand understanding of the natural history, biodiversity, ecology, and conservation of plant ecosystems that do not occur in the United States. It is an immersive and intensive study abroad course combining traditional lecture and field-based instruction in the field. Topics covered include plant ecology, natural history, wildlife and human use, anatomy, and field identification.
