Human Pathophysiology

This course will explore the biological basis of disease at the cellular, organ, and system levels, emphasizing applications for baccalaureate pre-registered nurses. It introduces students to the fundamental pathophysiology of the human body and examines physiological change that results in disruptive adaptive responses throughout the lifespan. Students will explore the body's compensatory mechanisms, including how these are manifested physically during illness.
