Pharmacology Nursing Practice

The purpose of this required course is to introduce the student to the role of pharmaceutical agents in assisting patients with health problems throughout the lifespan. A brief history and a discussion of the legal controls that regulate the field of pharmacology are included. Drug prototypes are utilized to examine the major classifications of drugs.
