Introduction to Dosage Calculations

The purpose of this course is to provide students with the opportunity to review basic math concepts and problems; examine the different systems of measurement and abbreviations; examine methods of dosage calculation required for safe administration of adult and pediatric medications; interpret drug orders; and solve calculations of different medication preparations.
