Literatures of Spain since 1800

This course examines literatures and cultures of Spain since 1800. Students will read and analyze a wide corpus of representative authors, genres, literary and cultural movements. This course fosters students’ critical thinking through written and oral communication, based on the contextual as well as textual analysis of the representative works chosen. Writing proficiency is required for a passing grade in this course.
