Contemporary Approaches to Spain

This course is an introduction to contemporary Spanish literature, art and culture. The course includes a selection of works to apply a variety of critical perspectives. Students will consider the social and political events of the period and their effect on Spanish identities. Students will analyze key works from various perspectives and will apply different theoretical tools, including cultural studies.
